presence, not tracking
here. exists for one small thing: letting the people you already know see that you're around. that's it. there is no follower count, no like button, no algorithm deciding who sees you.
when you tap here, your status lives for 60 minutes and then disappears. nothing is archived into a public timeline.
we never store your exact location
here. never saves precise GPS coordinates. when you share a moment we turn your position into a broad area label — a neighbourhood or district — and store a deliberately coarse point so a map pin can never lead someone to your door.
you can turn area labels off entirely in settings. your photos and videos still work; they simply arrive without a place name.
who can see your photos and videos
photos and videos are stored privately and served through short-lived links. only you and friends you've accepted can open them.
your profile page is private by default. a private profile shows just your avatar, username and bio — everything else is hidden behind a lock. if you switch your profile to public, your shared cards become visible to anyone with the link, and only then.
friends are mutual, always
nobody follows you. a connection only exists after both people accept, and either side can remove it at any time.
blocking removes you from each other's view completely: no presence, no moments, no pings.
staying in control
settings lets you silence notifications and ping sounds, hide yourself from the friend feed, and stop area labels from being attached to anything you share.
you can delete any photo or video you've posted, and deleting your account removes your profile, moments, media and messages for good — not archived, not recoverable.
